Firstly, we thank you for your interest and support, and do understand that there is a lot of preparation that goes into finalising your retreat date selection and taking that final leap of faith.
The purpose of a Gymea Retreat deposit is to secure and reserve a booking for your group. Once your deposit has been successfully received AND you are the first party to secure these dates, then we will send you notification confirming that the retreat centre has been reserved for you and your group with the nominated dates.
Securing your desired retreat dates and making a booking at Gymea Retreat
The simplest way to secure your retreat dates is by transferring your agreed deposit into our retreat bank account. To assist you in this process, we have created this web page and our 4 step process to assist you in securing your desired retreat dates.
If for any reason you are not able to process a bank transfer, we can assist you by taking a credit card or PayPal payment – note that there are 3% processing fee applicable.

To Lock In Your Retreat
If you wish to secure a particular set of dates that you have established with us are free, we would ask that you make your deposit as soon as possible, by calculating the deposit that is appropriate, see (Deposit calculator: below), and making the deposit via the bank details provided (Bank transfer details: below). Please email us to let us know the deposit has been made and, once funds have been cleared, and if your deposit is the first in line, your booking is then CONFIRMED.
Deposit minimum: $1,000 (for 2 or 3 nights).
For retreats of more than 3 nights, deposits are calculated on a $300 per night basis
i.e. 5 night retreat = $1,500 deposit

Cancellations / Reschedule Policy
The purpose of a retreat deposit is to reserve specific dates for you and for your group. Once the deposit has been received we no longer offer these dates to anyone. If other prospective clients ask for your dates, we inform them that the dates are not available.
In the event that you cancel or reschedule your retreat, we will do our best to fill those dates with another retreat, but this may prove difficult, if the time between cancellation and your retreat date is close.
Our Cancellation / Reschedule Policy is:
- Cancellation / Reschedule 10 months prior to deposited retreat date: deposit will be refunded / credited in full
- Cancellation / Reschedule 6-10 months prior to deposited retreat date: 50% of deposit will be refunded / credited ONLY if the dates are rebooked by another retreat host
- Cancellation / Reschedule less than 6 months prior to deposited retreat date: deposit is non-refundable
