Chaandra – Yoga & Wellness Retreat – 5 Days – Byron Bay Hinterland

Chaandra in Sanskrit means ‘shining’, in particular it refers to the moon – the shining rays of the moon. Our Chaandra Yoga and Wellness Retreat, run once a year, aims to encourage you to step into your Chaandra state, this part of ourselves that is soft, perceptive, open and fluid. Our program has been lovingly created to guide you gently into the slow lane.

This retreat is perfect for de-stressing, reconnecting and reawakening to your true self.

What is included?

This 5-night retreat includes 2 x daily yin & yang yoga, guided yoga nidra, guided rainforest mindfulness walk, 3 delicious plant based meals daily + healthy wholesome snacks, wellness workshops, 1hr spa massage, 2 hrs. sauna spa time, luxury accommodation, airport transfers.

Candice Hooper & Kate Patch are your hosts for Chaandra. Together they bring more than 25 years’ yoga experience and health and wellness knowledge. Chaandra offers a sacred space for the two to come together and share their love, passion and knowledge with you.

Yoga & Meditation

All classes are tailored to be enjoyed by beginner & experienced yogis. Candice specializes in Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). Yin Yoga incorporates long, slow, delicious holds aimed to realign the deepest structures of the body and release all that we no longer need to carry. Kate’s classes incorporate vibrant & energizing vinyasa, designed to enliven and awaken body, mind and soul. The combination of both Yin and Yang allows for a balancing of your whole being.

Food

All meals are plant based and lovingly created by your hosts. Kate has extensive experience working in the kitchen of one of Australia’s leading heath retreats and brings her expansive nutrition knowledge and love into every meal. All retreat guests generally wish they could take Kate home in their suitcases to cook for them privately! All meals are vegetarian and all food intolerances can be catered for.

Wellness Workshops

Absorb Kates vast health & nutrition knowledge as she teaches you how to make simple healthy meals that you can easily cook at home. During these workshops Kate will also discuss activating foods, fats, oils, food absorption, quality of food and water and unravel a few myths of the western diet.

Day Spa & Massage

Included in the retreat is a 1hr massage in the Gymea Healing Spa and a 2hr spa and sauna session. One massage never seems to be enough and we can organise subsequent treatments if you so desire. Enjoy an afternoon relaxing in the sauna, steam room & hydrotherapy spa.

Private Room Experience $2200

Includes deluxe Private Room with ensuite, all activities, meals & airport transfers.

Shared Room Experience $1900

Includes twin share accommodation with ensuite, all activities, meals & airport transfers.

Bookings & Deposits

Every booking requires a non-refundable $500 deposit. Cancellations 3 months prior to retreat start date will receive a full refund minus deposit, less than 3 months cancellation notice, no refund will be given.
