Over the years we have been here at Gymea Retreat, we have often been asked by our clients and guests, if we knew of some local indigenous people who could provide their group with an authentic traditional welcome to country and Aboriginal Cultural experience.

Offering One:

Traditional Welcome to Country / Smoking Ceremony / Ochre.  This is a 1 – 1.5-hour group experience.

     

Offering Two:

Fire ceremony, traditional fire lighting, traditional language, local history and storytelling around the fire.  This is a 2 – 2.5-hour group experience.

      

Offering Three:

Guided scrub/ rainforest bushwalk, bush tucker trail / traditional food and medicine plant wisdom, stories and language.  This is a 3 –  4-hour group experience.
